Update: 08/05/2024
Crandon Golf Course | Greens, Bunkers, Irrigation Improvement
There has been steady progress made and our course improvements are looking very promising. To ensure the best golf experience for our visitors (progress photos above) and to continue delivering our mission, about August 12th the renovation will move to the back 9-holes and the front 9-holes will need a little time to grow in.
Note: About August 12th, the renovation will move to the back 9 and the front 9 will need a little time to grow in. During this time (about August 12th, approximately four weeks) the playable course will be closed, reopening the front 9 mid-September. This short course closure will allow us to complete the overall project sooner for a November full 18-hole re-opening.
Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces is proud to announce that on May 6th, 2024 Crandon Golf Course at Key Biscayne will be undergoing a $5 million revitalization / renovation project. This project will ensure optimal playing experiences for golfers while preserving natural areas as we update our irrigation system, bunkers, putting greens, teeing grounds, cart paths, parking lot and entry roads. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work to better serve you, estimated completion and reopening is early Fall 2024.
